I have 'nothing' to do today but get the kids' hair cut and putz around the house recuperating from this weekend. It was a very fun, very LONG weekend. Molly doesn't have school today, so we MUST get out for haircuts. They're all shaggy.
It appears I have allergies this spring. My eyes have been going crazy and I thought it was some of my makeup (and it still might be that as well) but I'm fairly certain it also has something to do with pollen. In the meantime, my eyes look like somebody repeatedly poked them with a stick. It's not attractive.
As usual, laundry looms large in the basement. I think I washed all the really nasty stuff last night, but there are still a ton of towels and other random clothes. There must be some sort of disconnect in my brain because it seems to pile up so quickly and I can't figure out why. I do laundry almost every day and there's always more to do.
I am officially out of Ambien, for the moment. I took my last pill last night. So far, not taking it has resulted in being awake until 5 am, so I'm really hoping my doctor responds to my email today. I can do the 5 am thing every once in a while and be mostly ok, but not every night.
I should take another Lyrica today...
Only 11 days till my surgery. The day before I'm supposed to drink this stuff to clean me out. The older girls have allergist appointments that afternoon, so I can't get started until after we get home. I'm so not looking forward to it. Everything I've heard about what that stuff does to you has been nasty.
I need to get out recipes and go grocery shopping and cook for the next three days so I've got stuff in the freezer. We don't have a ton of freezer space, however, so I have to be careful. I should measure our inside freezer and buy containers to match. It's so narrow, not a lot of dishes will fit in there.
Ooh - I just remembered the Easter pictures I ordered from Costco will be ready today. And then I can mail the package of fabric and things to Granny. I don't know how much she'll be able to do in a month. After that she'll be out of commission for a while for her hip surgery.
I hope the kids cooperate with errands. I'm tired already. Liam, in particular, does not like shopping or waiting around for people to be done with things. Idk what he's going to be like in the hair salon. Not good, I'm sure.
My kitchen needs some attention.
